Located in the Périgord Vert region, less than 2 hours from Bordeaux, Château de Montardy overlooks a splendid valley stretching for several kilometers. An architectural exception in the land of Périgord castles, it is bordered by century-old trees and surrounded by a 300-hectare estate.
It has belonged to the same family since the end of the 15th century; initially a feudal castle, it was transformed over the centuries until its current appearance was modified in the 16th century.
The 18th-century decor has been tastefully preserved, allowing you to sleep in period four-poster beds.

Boar Hunting in France
Chaussaraye Hunting grounds an hour south of Poitier, have been held by the de Beauregard family for generations and hitherto have been exclusively used for the family. The grounds are split into 2 parks over approximately 6500 acres of woodlands and fields. There will be optimally 12 of you hunting in the Grand Park which is approximately 5500 acres with approximately 32 Miradors (Elevated shooting posts) along the alleys. You will be hunting with dogs who will drive the boar through your lines.
Boar Hunting - Chausseraye, Deux Sevres
You will arrive on a Friday afternoon / evening, hunt all day Saturday, and depart for the UK on Sunday. Transportation from local airports is included for those not driving.
A Weekend Never to Forget
You'll dine in the woods on Saturday Lunch and in the evening back at the Chateau where our chefs will prepare a hunters banquet for you and your party.
