The hunts are held upon the exclusive estates of the French aristocracy, where you shall revel in the grandeur of noble heritage. Arriving on Friday, you will settle into the comfort of a distinguished château and relax alongside your esteemed guests. Perhaps a session of shooting practice will allow you to acquaint yourself with the fine weaponry at your disposal.
On Saturday morning, a hearty Hunters’ Breakfast awaits, fortifying you for the day's pursuits. Upon arrival at the hunting grounds, you shall select your starting position. Lunch will be served amidst the forest's tranquil beauty, while the evening’s dinner will be an elegant affair within either the château or in the forest, masterfully prepared by our chefs. Here, you will savor the finest French cuisine and wines, handpicked from renowned vineyards. The evening will be spent in delightful recollection of the day's exploits, accompanied by the most venerable ports, cognacs, and champagnes. At last, you shall retire to your chambers, ready to rise for Sunday’s adventures.
The Thrill of the Hunt
The Boar are in their natural environment. It's their forest you're in. Although you'll be placed on Miradors (Raised Platforms), expect to be mobile as we follow the dogs on the Hunt
The Houndsmen Await
A typical hunt involves packs of in excess of 40 dogs driving the boar through your lines. The lineage of the pack is as old as the hunting grounds you'll be stood in and they love what they do!
